Lifted – Cloud forests and Quetzals

If ever there existed an ultimate symbol of the beauty embodied by birds, the Resplendent Quetzal would certainly qualify.

Rare, stunningly beautiful, elusive, and limited to the remote and mist-draped cloud forests of Central America, this bird, with its shimmering golden green and blood-red feathers.

Colombia Wild

Colombia is a megadiverse country with incredible species of tanagers and hummingbirds.

Savanna Hawk

A small film that I did in partnership with Fundacion Rapaces de Costa Rica about the first reported nest of the Savanna Hawk (Buteogallus meridionalis) during summer of 2016 on the southern areas of Costa Rica.

The Red-throated Caracara (Ibycter americanus) has a complex and stable social structure almost unique among birds of prey, roam the forest in groups of up to 11 individuals. This is the first video of a family group in Costa Rica
